Baig Security Looking to hire a full-time call Human Resource for a remote position
Baig Secured is a Canadian security company based out of Burlington, Ontario, hiring for Hamilton Ontario providing a complete spectrum of private security, investigations, and customized solutions. We provide professionally trained uniformed Security Guards, Mobile Patrol, Private investigators, and Loss Prevention Services.
A human resources (HR) job involves managing all aspects of employee relations within an organization. HR professionals are responsible for recruiting, training and retaining employees, and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. Responsibilities and Duties:
- Recruitment: Attracting and hiring the most qualified candidates for available positions, utilizing job postings, resume screenings, interviews and reference checks.
- Employee Development: Developing and implementing training programs to improve employee skills, performance, and productivity.
- Compensation and Benefits: Administering compensation and benefit programs, including salaries, health insurance, retirement plans and other incentives.
- Performance Management: Developing and implementing performance appraisal systems to evaluate employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
- Employee Relations: Providing guidance and counseling to employees on work-related issues, and managing employee grievances, conflicts and disciplinary actions.
- Compliance: Ensuring that the organization complies with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- HR Administration: Maintaining accurate and employee records and managing HR-related paperworks such as employment contracts, personnel files, and benefit enrollments
- HR Strategy: Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, and collaborating with other departments to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
Requirements
- Entry level position: High school or College/University student. Preferred certificate and/or Diploma in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resources (in progress)
- 1-2 years’ HR administration experience, preferably with a generalist focus; or
- 1-2 years’ of managing and coordinating events
- 1-2 years’ experience in recruitment marketing platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Indeed, etc.)
- Ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions
- Solid foundation in the Recruitment and Selection process
- Intermediate experience in G-suits
Key relationships:
- Interacts daily with the supervisor, quality control inspectors, material handlers, set-up department, maintenance department, and other operators
- Occasionally with production manager and other departments as required
Competencies:
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask, pay close attention to details, and manage time wisely
- Ability to work well with others and individually and follow instruction(s)
- Strong time management skills and highly organized
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of tasks.
